Privacy Policy

Last updated April 25, 2026

This policy explains what Demo Data (demo-data.forage.bot) collects, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you may have. Demo Data is operated by Jobbot Inc, organized in Delaware, USA. Questions can be sent to demo-data@forage.bot.

1. Information we collect

We collect only the information reasonably needed to operate, deliver, support, and protect Demo Data:

  • Contact information you provide, typically your email address and, where relevant, a business or brand name.
  • Order and transaction information such as what you purchased, when you purchased it, pricing, refund status, invoice or receipt details, and related order metadata. Payment card details are entered directly into Stripe Checkout and are not stored by us.
  • Submitted business content such as URLs, brand names, competitor URLs, prompt text, and other business inputs you choose to provide so we can generate your deliverable.
  • Public content we fetch from submitted URLs such as publicly accessible pages, metadata, and technical signals from the websites you ask us to analyze.
  • Generated records such as reports, outputs, artifacts, delivery status, retry status, and internal records tied to fulfilling your order.
  • Communications including messages you send to our support address and our replies.
  • Automatic technical data such as server logs, IP address, user agent, request path, referrer, timestamps, and related diagnostic metadata generated when you visit the site or when our backend processes your order.
  • Privacy-focused analytics such as aggregate page view and usage information provided through Vercel Web Analytics. We do not use cross-site advertising trackers on the site.
  • Sample rows you paste into the generator are used only to infer the shape of the data you want produced. They are passed through to the LLM provider for the duration of one generation run and then discarded; we do not store the sample row beyond the run.

2. How we use information

  • To provide the product you purchased.
  • To run the audit or analysis workflow, generate reports or other outputs, and deliver those outputs to you.
  • To send transactional messages such as checkout confirmations, delivery notices, retry or failure notices, refund notices, and replies to support requests.
  • To operate, maintain, secure, debug, and improve Demo Data, including fraud prevention, abuse prevention, incident response, and service quality review.
  • To keep business records and satisfy accounting, tax, legal, and compliance obligations.

We do not sell personal information. We also do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

3. Important submission rules

Demo Data is designed primarily for business contact details and business or publicly accessible website content. Please do not submit information that is unnecessary for the service, including sensitive personal information or confidential materials you are not comfortable having processed by our service providers.

  • Do not submit payment card data except through Stripe Checkout.
  • Do not submit social security numbers, government ID numbers, health information, financial account credentials, biometric data, precise location data, or children's personal information.
  • Do not submit passwords, API keys, private inbox contents, trade secrets, or third-party confidential information unless we have explicitly agreed in writing that the service is intended to process that material.
  • Submit only information and URLs you have the right to provide and authorize us to process.

4. Service providers and AI processing

We use a limited set of third-party providers to operate Demo Data. Each receives only the data reasonably needed for its role:

  • Stripe — payment processing, checkout, and refunds. Stripe handles payment details directly under Stripe's own privacy terms.
  • Vercel — application hosting, functions, blob storage for generated artifacts, and privacy-focused web analytics.
  • Resend — outbound transactional email delivery.
  • Migadu — inbound email hosting for support mailboxes.
  • OpenRouter — routing for large-language-model calls used in analysis workflows. Content you submit may be sent to OpenRouter and to one or more upstream model providers selected through OpenRouter in order to generate outputs. Handling, retention, and model-improvement practices may vary by provider, so you should not submit information you would not want processed by those services.
  • GitHub — internal issue tracking and support operations. When you send support messages or replies, the message content and related metadata may be stored in private issues so we can track and resolve the matter.

We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to valid legal process, enforce our terms, collect amounts owed, or protect the rights, property, or safety of Jobbot Inc, our users, or others.

5. Legal bases for processing (EEA/UK)

If data protection laws such as the GDPR apply, our legal bases generally are:

  • Contract — to provide the service you request, process payments, deliver outputs, and provide support tied to your order.
  • Legitimate interests — to secure, maintain, debug, and improve the service; prevent fraud and abuse; keep internal records; and understand basic site performance.
  • Legal obligation — to comply with tax, accounting, law-enforcement, and similar legal requirements.
  • Consent — where consent is required by law and you choose to provide it.

6. How long we keep information

We retain information only for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described in this policy, including to fulfill orders, support customers, resolve disputes, and satisfy legal obligations.

  • Order, billing, and tax records — generally kept for at least seven years.
  • Submitted inputs, fetched pages, generated reports, and related order artifacts — kept while the order is active and for a reasonable period after delivery so we can support re-access, troubleshooting, dispute handling, and any follow-on service tied to that order.
  • Support correspondence — kept for as long as reasonably needed to respond to the issue and address related fraud, abuse, or dispute concerns.
  • Server and request logs — typically retained for up to 30 days unless a longer period is needed for security or incident review.
  • Aggregated or de-identified data — may be kept longer when it no longer reasonably identifies a person.

7. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, deletion of, restriction of, or a copy of personal information we hold about you, and to object to certain processing. To make a request, email demo-data@forage.bot from the address we have on file or otherwise provide enough information for us to verify your request.

We may need to verify your identity, ask for clarifying information, or decline a request where the law permits or requires us to do so. If applicable law gives you a right to appeal a decision on your request, we will tell you how to do that. Some information may need to be kept even after a deletion request, such as records required for tax, accounting, security, or legal purposes.

8. Cookies and analytics

Demo Data does not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking technologies on its own site. We use Vercel Web Analytics, which is designed to be privacy-focused and does not rely on advertising cookies, but site operation and analytics may still involve limited technical metadata such as IP address, user agent, page path, and timestamps.

When you check out, Stripe Checkout runs on Stripe's own domain and may set cookies or similar technologies under Stripe's privacy practices.

9. Security

We use HTTPS/TLS for data in transit and rely on managed providers for infrastructure, payments, email delivery, and parts of our processing workflow. We also limit access to personal information to the extent reasonably needed to operate the service. No method of transmission, storage, or processing is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a breach affecting your information, we will provide notice where required by applicable law.

10. International data transfers

Jobbot Inc is based in the United States, and our service providers may process information in the United States, the European Union, and other jurisdictions where they operate. By using Demo Data, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in those places, which may have different data protection laws than your home jurisdiction.

11. Children

Demo Data is intended for businesses and adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact demo-data@forage.bot and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of the page. Material changes may also be highlighted on the site or sent to customers by email when appropriate.

13. Contact

Questions, requests, or privacy concerns can be sent to demo-data@forage.bot.
